In this foundational course, participants will be introduced to the key concepts of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Discussions will examine the reality and challenges to achieving cultural and systemic change. Through conversation and interactive exercises, we will build awareness about unconscious bias, stereotyping, and microaggressions, and understand how they impact the workplace. Finally, you will begin to consider your own organizational DEI goals and objectives and what you can do to set change in motion.
This introductory workshop is suited for a broad range of participants, particularly leaders and team members of organizations that are early in their DEI journey and wish to develop an overall understanding of the relevance and impact of DEI and how best to approach DEI planning.
This workshop offers a deeper dive into the critical concept of Unconscious Bias, an underlying driver of marginalization, discrimination, and inequity in the workplace. This interactive session focuses on understanding the concept of unconscious bias and raising awareness of our own unconscious biases. We explore the impact of unconscious bias on various aspects of the workplace, including the hiring process. Practical application includes examining ways to mitigate bias in the workplace and on fair hiring.

This is a comprehensive and interactive workshop providing best practices and guiding principles to support hiring that is fair, equitable, and free from discrimination. This course further explores how unconscious bias impacts the hiring process and what to do to get out in front and mitigate bias. Participants will learn how best to plan and set the stage for fair and equitable hiring. We will explore ways to expand recruitment outreach to attract qualified, diverse candidates. Practical application will focus on how to identify and address barriers (including bias) and proactively support employment equity through each stage of the hiring process. This workshop provides a safe and confidential forum to discuss common questions and challenges and how to effectively address them.

In this interactive session we closely examine 6 fundamental traits of inclusive leaders that foster diversity, equity, and inclusion on their teams. Included in this discussion is an examination of our own biases and the impact on our leadership approach and decisions. We also take a close look at the dimensions of inclusive collaboration and how we can support, model, and encourage inclusion within our teams and organizations.
This session is for anyone in a leadership role whose goal is to support a diverse and inclusive workplace. It is recommended that participants complete the DEI Demystified course or other learning that covers foundational concepts.
This session examines the case for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the workplace and the common challenges faced by businesses as they embark on their DEI journey. In this interactive workshop, you will be introduced to the guiding principles and building blocks of a DEI strategy. Through group activities, you and your colleagues will begin to develop your own DEI strategy and action plan.
This course is geared towards participants who are leading and/or participating in DEI planning and is recommended for senior leaders, managers, and DEI committee and/or working group members. Ideally, participants will have completed the DEI Demystified workshop or other courses covering foundational concepts.
